This year our high school student council has decided to bring back the Student Humanitarian Council. They have already initiated a food drive and several service days in the surrounding communities. We are so excited to see where and how God uses this council to love and serve the people in the city.
A word from the heads:
We see the Student Humanitarian Council as a group of students that are intentionally serving, encouraging, and blessing our community.
Prayer is the foundation of our vision. We want to make and impact among young and old. We want to serve them practically, but more importantly we want to prayerfully come around them.
We have plans underway to serve a local urban school in need, help a nursing home, and serve single moms in our community.
We can’t wait to see what else the Lord has in store for this year. We know that he is moving in our school and this is a major part of that.
