About The Drama

At the begining of the semester, it was my intent to perform an entirely different drama. In my mind, I was already casting students for parts. The Sunday before the semester started, God challenged me with the vision for a totally new drama.

I was talking to my sister about the thoughts that I had and the time that it would take to write a drama for this semester. She reminded me that if God wanted it, He could just drop it on me quickly. That night before going to bed, I told God, "If this is of you, I need you to just drop it in, because I just don't have the time." The next morning, I was awakened at 5:00 A.M. with the lines for the first scene echoing in my thoughts. I sat down at the computer and the words just flew. Little by little, another scene would come until each scene was completed. Even the students were given each scene as it was written.

Each scene is a true story based on the facts as they were recorded. The last two stories have come from the lives of our leaders here in the IHOP community. I have felt the urging of God's heart throughout this whole semester that He wanted to echo the story of His great love over these students and this community. The words that began to ring in my heart that Sunday morning were, "God loves well and God loves much!"

In watching this drama, it is my sincerest desire that you feel the great love that Jesus has for you and that you begin to fully comprehend the magnitude of the love story that He has handwritten for your life.
